For your holiday in total relaxation and privacy, you can choose
between two apartments: The Lilac Apartment & The Sky Blue
Apartment.
Each apartment is 50 square meters, has a private entrance,
a bedroom, and a combination kitchenette and sitting room. If you
arrive with additional friends or family members who would like to
share your apartment, there is a very comfortable sofa bed in the
sitting room for one or two additional people to sleep.

The Lilac Apartment
One or two guests: 70 Euros per night for the apartment. If you stay 6
nights or more, the cost per night is 65 Euros. Additional discounts for
stays of 2 weeks or longer. A delicious breakfast is included. Linens,
blankets and towels are all included. The Lilac is on the ground floor.
One or two additional guests: plus 15 Euros per guest, per night
Your breakfast is served on the terrace from where you can admire the
Cascina's breathtaking panorama. If you prefer, we can prepare a picnic
basket for you with your breakfast; this way you can enjoy it in your
preferred place within the property's 30 acres. Or, enjoy breakfast inside
the Cascina.
Please let us know before your arrival if you have any food allergies,
intolerances or preferences and we will do our best to meet your individual
needs.
The Sky Blue Apartment
One or two guests: 75 Euros per night for the apartment. If you stay 6
nights or more, the cost per night is 70 Euros. Additional discounts for
stays of 2 weeks or longer. A delicious breakfast is included. Linens,
blankets and towels are all included. The Sky Blue is one flight up.

During the cold months, there is an additional charge of 15 euros per night
for either apartment when heat is required all day and night; if heating is
needed only in the evening, the heating charge is 10 euros.

We have provided everything we can think of to make your stay in Cascina
Rosso’s furnished apartments as comfortable as possible.
Just bring your favorite groceries and personal items.
If you don’t have time to shop, you can send us a shopping list; if there is
enough time before your arrival (at least three days) we can do the shopping for
you. Here is a check-list of most of what you will find in your apartment. If there
is anything else that you might need, please let us know before your arrival and
we will try to provide it for you.
In addition to all bed linens and towels for the bedroom and bathroom, the
kitchen is supplied with:

The Environment: care and respect at Cascina Rosso
Paper, plastic, glass and metal are always separated for recycling.
Heating of radiators and hot water is via a condensation gas heater: it re-burns
exhaust gases, thus saving natural gas.
Paint, both for the walls and some furniture, is water based.
All bed sheets and linens are 100 per cent cotton and are washed with organic
detergents (Sonett OHG, Ecor, etc.); that is why a lot of guests affected by
allergies have reduced symptoms when staying at Cascina Rosso, because of
being in a natural setting that reduces such exposure.
All water being used at Cascina Rosso is generated by our natural springs; this
water is regularly tested in a specialized laboratory: it is pure water, rich in
natural minerals.
By using the Internet and communicating with many environmental groups or
agencies, consulting other people who were pioneers in environmental action,
we continually search for ways of reducing our impact on Mother Earth, and we
do it with pleasure

grill might be available to guests starting in Summer 2011. We are
also restoring an outdoor stone and brick oven that will (hopefully)

delicious food from the Cascina's organic vegetable gardens, fruit
trees and berry orchard.

| Breakfast at Cascina Rosso (prepared by Judith, a vegetarian for more than 40 years) is a vegetarian's delight. On request, we are happy to also prepare a totally vegan breakfast for you. Our breakfasts are mostly organic, include many Fair Trade food choices and are always totally GM-free; we are 20 minutes away from the first totally GM-free village in Italy! |
